Cancer is the abnormal cellular growth and proliferation, generally due to the unequal distribution of cellular nutrients. The state of cancer is determined with the term ‘malignancy’, which implies the progressiveness of the cellular anomalies towards pathological climax. Normally cancer develops when body’s normal control mechanism stops working. There are more than 200 different types of cancer have been identified. Some cancers may eventually spread into other tissues and the scenario is called metastasis. In a gross scale of observation, cancer can be broadly classified into five main categories, which are carcinomas, sarcomas, leukemia, lymphoma, and CNS tumor such as glioma. Though, cancer is not conclusively curable, it is only possible to delay the progressiveness of the disease pathology by surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The case reports on different challenging conditions of cancer are the milestones in the progress of cancer research and also a valid guidance for a better future therapeutics.
