Journal of Pharmaceutical Microbiology expresses gratitude to all its elite panel of editorial board members for their continuous efforts, support and encouragement throughout journey of the journal, right from its inception in the year 2017 and congratulates them for making the journal achieve its goals and becoming successful and well-recognized broadcaster of scientific outcomes and perspectives from systematic inquiry into infectious diseases, medicine, and its related field.

The journal is extremely privileged to have  Lynne A Ensor, Scott Sutton, M Jahangir Alam, S Narasimha Murthy, Rahmat M Talukder, Tim Sandle, Satyajit Sarker, Veronique Seidel, Hideharu Shintani, Anna Malm leading the board of academic editorial panel. The journal expresses appreciation for the professional execution of their responsibilities which include spearheading the overall editorial activity of the journal and gaining commercial acclaim in open access publishing.

Great researchers who are extremely qualified in the field are on the Editor Board who are helping the journal to rank as best in the publishing industry.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Microbiology emphases on infections caused by parasites, bacteria, virus, and fungus. Articles attitudes on infectious diseases, treatment of infectious diseases, infectious medicineepidemiology, diagnostic tests of infectious diseases, infection control, pathophysiology, clinical microbiologypreventive medicine, immunological role of host in response to the pathogen in an infected organism, antibiotics, immunotherapy, emergency medicine etc.,

Microbiology is the study of the causes and effects of disease or injury. The word micro biology also refers to the study of disease in general, incorporating a wide range of bioscience research fields and medical practices. However, when used in the context of modern medical treatment, the term is often used in a more narrow fashion to refer to processes and tests which fall within the contemporary medical field of "Pharmaceutical microbiology", an area which includes a number of distinct but inter-related medical specialties that diagnose disease, mostly through analysis of tissue, cell, and body fluid samples. Idiomatically, “pharmaceutical microbiology" may also refer to the predicted or actual progression of particular diseases and the affix path is sometimes used to indicate a state of disease in cases of pharmaceutical microbiology.

Pharmaceutical Microbiology is the combined field of Microbiology and pharmacy, wherein study of microorganisms that are related to the production of antibiotics, enzymes, vitamins, vaccines, and other pharmaceutical products are detailed.

It majorly studies the causes of pharmaceutical contamination (Pharmaceutical product contamination with microbes) and Spoilage. Pharmaceutical microbiologists focus heavily on quality control to ensure a supply of life-saving drugs and vaccines that are free from contamination by micro-organisms.

Pharmaceutical Microbiology is an applied branch of Microbiology. It involves the study of microorganisms associated with the manufacture of pharmaceuticals e.g. minimizing the number of microorganisms in a process environment, excluding microorganisms and microbial biproducts like exotoxin and endotoxin from water and other starting materials, and ensuring the finished pharmaceutical product is sterile. Other aspects of pharmaceutical microbiology include the research and development of anti-infective agents, the use of microorganisms to detect mutagenic and carcinogenic activity in prospective drugs, and the use of microorganisms in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products like insulin and human growth hormone.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Microbiology focuses on the areas such as Microbiology, Microorganisms, Applied Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Microorganisms, Microbiological Identification, Microbial Contamination, Pharmaceutical Contamination, Pharmaceuticals Products and Microbial Risks, Microbial Limits Test & Assays, Aseptic Process Simulations/Media Fills, Microbial Spoilage and Preservation, Antimicrobial Preservation, Microbial Control, Disinfection & Sterilization Technologies, Drug Quality Control, Validation of Test Methods, Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance, Sterile Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Biological Indicators etc.,

Journal of Pharmaceutical Microbiology publishes articles in the form of Research articles, Reviews, Case studies, Case reports, Image articles, Short communications, Commentaries, Letter to editor, Opinion articles, Theories, Thesis, Perspectives, etc.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Microbiology is using Editorial Tracking System to maintain quality and transparency to the author in the peer-review process. Review processing will be performed by the editorial board members of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Microbiology or by Reviewers (outside experts in the field). Two independent reviewer’s approval (Minimum reviewer’s approval) followed by editor approval is obligatory for acceptance of any manuscript excluding an editorial.
