Retrospective Cohort Study Aimed To Explore the Association of Chinese Herbal Medicine

Description

The systemic inflammation is believed to provide an outline of the association between rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and endometriosis. This retrospective cohort study aimed to explore the association of Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM) use with the prevention of endometriosis onset in women diagnosed with RA. Revised American Society for Reproductive Medicine (rASRM) classification for endometriosis is considered to have limited ability to predict fertility after surgery. This study evaluated the effect of surgical findings described by the rASRM classification on postoperative change in serum Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) in endometriosis. Long noncoding RNAs are involved in the pathogenesis of endometriosis and can be regulated by estrogen. This study aimed to investigate the role of estrogen in regulating the expression and function of lncRNA-H19 in endometriosis.

Endometriosis (EMS) is a common and highly recurrent gynecological disease characterized by chronic pain and infertility. There are no definitive therapies for endometriosis since the pathogenesis remains undetermined. This study aimed to identify EMS-related functional modules and hub genes by integrated bioinformatics analysis. Long non-coding RNA and exosomes are implicated in endometriosis development. We measured the expression of an exosomal lncRNA, homeobox transcript antisense RNA (HOTAIR), and explored its molecular mechanism in endometriosis progression. Endometriosis is a condition associated with pelvic pain, infertility, and possibly with decreased quality of life as well as psychiatric disorder. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the association between pain characteristic, psychiatric disorder, and quality of life in women with endometriosis. Endometriosis is an inflammatory disease leading to the growth of endometrial-like tissue outside of the uterus, which affects approximately 10% of young women of reproductive potential. The diagnosis of this disease is difficult, often invasive and time-consuming, therefore non-invasive diagnostic methods are strongly desirable in endometriosis detection. The aim of our project was to investigate whether any associations exist between the expression of serum IgG fucosylation and advanced stages of endometriosis. We were also interested in whether native serum IgG (s-IgG) fucosylation analysis, without prior IgG isolation, could provide a panel of parameters helpful in non-invasive diagnostics of advanced endometriosis.
